Yes, if your circumstances change and you find it difficult to access your prepayment meter, we can arrange for an engineer to visit your home and move the meter to a more convenient location, within a set distance.
Before we can move your prepayment meter, we need to ensure that it is safe and reasonably practical for you to use. When you contact us to discuss this, we’ll ask a few questions to help determine who is responsible for moving the meter.
If the meter needs to be relocated further than we, as your energy supplier, can move it, we’ll refer you to your local network distribution company, who will be able to assist.
If you’re of pensionable age, disabled, or chronically ill, you may not be charged for this service. If you’re not eligible for free relocation, we’ll provide you with a quotation before proceeding.
